Statement

I make dolls and assemblages because the creative process is an energizing and fulfilling experience. I feel most authentic when I'm following my muse. With the exception of drafting patterns and measured drawings I don't sketch my work. I start with an idea, an object or a technique and let the process unfold. The process is fun. I particularly like to combine needle arts with woodworking and assemblage techniques. Most of the materials are recycled.
